Going into the game, Nebraska was 3-0 while Omaha was 0-3. Can Omaha give Nebraska their first loss causing Nebraska to give Omaha their first win of the season? Let's find out.

The first set ended at 25-14 in favor of Nebraska. The second set ended at 25-14 again and also in favor of Nebraska. The third set was just as close ending at 25-13 in favor of Nebraska yet again. this caused Nebraska to win 3 sets to Omaha's none and give Nebraska their fourth straight win as well as Omaha's fourth straight loss of the 2023 season.

Now time for the top athletes of the game. The leader in Kills goes to Nebraska's Andi Jackson with 8, Harper Murray with 6, and Lindsay Krause with 5. For comparison, Omaha's leaders in Kills were Amanda Harddt and Shayla McCormick, each with 5. The leaders in aces were Nebraska's Lexi Rodriguez with 3 followed by Merritt Beason with 2.     Now to get into the reason I decided to cover this game specifically. The reason this game was chosen was due in part to the record it set and I'm not talking about on the court. I'm talking about in the stands. For those who don't know, this game had a record of 92,003 people in attendance. That's not only a record for NCAA Women's Volleyball but it's also the largest crowd for a women's sporting event EVER!

Here is the post the NCAA put on their Women's Volleyball page in honor of the big event in Lincoln, Nebraska. Don't forget to follow them for the beach season as well: @ncaavolleyball

Here is the game day Instagram post Nebraska put on their Instagram in honor of the big day. Omaha didn't have a game day post on their page. Don't forget to follow them on Instagram: @huskervb and @omahavb to keep up to date with their season

That concludes this blog covering the record breaking game between Nebraska and Omaha there in Nebraska's capital of Lincoln. Stay tuned for the next blog post and until next time, Miller out.
