With TCU being ranked #1 and USC being ranked #2 as well as both teams being undefeated, it was going to be a tough game. USC was 10-0 going into the game while TCU was 12-0 going into the game which means whichever team loses, gets their first loss of the season. Now let's begin. Going into the match, USC was sitting at 5-0 while UCLA was sitting at 9-0. With both teams going into this game undefeated, the pressure was on. The first match to conclude was the 2s which was Maggie Boyd and Devon Newberry of UCLA against Madison Sheilds and Madison White of USC. The first set ended at 21-16 with UCLA taking that set.
