Florida State @ Louisville 10-27-2023 WVB

 Dear Readers~     Louisville, KY- This past Sunday Audrey Koenig led Florida State in both digs and kills while also having the third most blocks. Kiari Robey led in blocks, had the team's only ace, and had the third highest number of kills. Aiko Jones led Louisville in both kills and blocks. She shared the blocks lead with both Phekran PK Kong and Elle Glock, who all had 2. Elena Scott led in digs and had the second most assists as well as having 1 of the team's 3 aces. Elle Glock led in assists as well as the previously mentioned digs tie. The sets ended at 25-20, 25-22, and 25-16 all in favor of Louisville at Louisville's L&N Federal Credit Union Arena.     The leader for Louisville during that match is opposite hitter Aiko Jones with 13 kills, four digs, and two blocks, sitting at a 0.440 hitting percentage while Audrey Koenig's 11 kills and 10 digs led Florida State.     This finish moves Louisville to a season record of 19-2 as well as 10-1 ...

Wisconsin @ Nebraska 10-21-2023 WVB

 Dear Readers~     Welcome back to another blog! If you missed my previous blog covering the game between Stanford and USC, don't forget to check it out after this one. This is a big game because these two are the only teams left that are undefeated this season. They both have a record of 18-0 going into the game. Wisconsin is currently ranked #1 and Nebraska is currently ranked #2. This game took place at 7pm on Saturday, October 21st at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Now let's get into the game to see who can stay undefeated and who will have their first loss of the season.     Let's start off with the stats. The leader in Kills goes to Nebraska's Merritt Beason, with 21, while Sarah Franklin led Wisconsin with 17. Only 3 players had Aces and they each had one ace.  Dear Readers~      Welcome back to another blog about NCAA Volleyball! My previous blog covered the game between an unranked Texas A&M and #4 Florida so don't forget to check that blog out after this one! This blog will cover the game between an unranked USC as they head north to play #3 Stanford. The game took place on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 8pm Pacific Time at Stanford's Maples Pavillion. Going into the game, Stanford was 13-2 coming off of a 7-game win streak, thanks to their most recent win against Washington State, while USC was 11-5 after coming off of a loss to Arizona State then a win to Arizona. Will Stanford get their 8th win in a row or will USC hand Stanford their third loss of the season, only done so by Nebraska and Florida? My latest blog covered the game between Kentucky and Tennessee so don't forget to check that out after this one. This blog will cover the game between #4 Florida and an unranked Texas A&M that took place on September 27, 2023 in Gainsville, Florida, home to the Florida Gators. Going into the game, Texas A&M was 9-3 while Florida was 10-1. Dear Readers~     Welcome back to another volleyball blog! The last time I covered a Tennessee game they played #1 Wisconsin up north in Madison so if you'd like to see how that game went, don't forget to check that blog out after this one. This time I'll be covering the game between the Tennessee Lady Vols and the Kentucky Lady Wildcats that took place on Sunday, September 24th at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington, Kentucky.  Going into the game, Tennessee had a 5-game win streak while Kentucky was 1-1 at home. Can Tennessee make it a 6-game win streak, or will Kentucky make it 2-1 at home? Keep reading to find out.     Let's start with how each set ended shall we?
