Texas vs Tennessee 12-7-2023 WVB Regionals Day 1

Dear Readers~     Welcome back! This blog will cover Day 1 of the NCAA National Championship Regional match up. This blog will be covering the game between Tennessee and Texas that took place on Thursday, December 7th at 8pm CT in Stanford, California. Coming off of the First and Second Round games, Texas beat Texas A&M in their First Round 3-1 and SMU in their Second Round 3-0 while Tennessee beat High Point 3-0 in their First Round and beat WKU also 3-0 in their Second Round. With it now being the point in the season where if you lose your season is over, let's get into this game between Texas and Tennessee that took place in California to see how that game ended.     Let's start with the game leaders and we'll start with kills. Minnesota vs Creighton 12-2-2023 WVB Round 2

 Dear Readers~     It's time for Round 2 of the 2023 NCAA Women's Indoor Volleyball National Championships. Round 2 will cover the game between Creighton and Minnesota. This game took place in Omaha, Nebraska at the D.J. Sokol Arena at 6:30pm Central Time on Saturday, December 2nd. Going into the game, Creighton was sitting at 28-4 after just beating Colgate in a 3-0 sweep in Round 1. For Minnesota, they went into the game 16-12 after beating Utah State in a 3-0 sweep for their Round 1. Now let's see how the two teams played in their Round 2 game.     The game leader in Kills goes to Creighton's Norah Sis, with 16, followed shortly by Ava Martin, with 15, and Ellie Bichelmeyer, with 12. Penn State vs Yale 11-30-2023 WVB Round 1

 Dear Readers~     The regular season is now over so it's time to see who can make it all the way to the finals and be named the national champions. For Round 1 the game being covered will be Penn State taking on Yale in Lawrence, Kansas at the Horejsi Family Volleyball Arena. At the end of the regular season, Penn State was 21-8 along with a 6-game win streak, with 4 of those being a 3-0 sweep, while Yale was 21-3 with a 17-game win streak and their last loss being on September 15th after they got swept by Northwestern. With 64 teams competing in Round 1 let's get started to see who can make it to Round 2.     Starting off with Kills for the game leaders we have Penn State's Jess Mruzik, with 19, while Yale was led by Audrey Leak, with 15. Dear Readers~     Welcome Back!  This blog will cover the second match up between Nebraska and Wisconsin. In the previous match up between the two teams, they both went into the game undefeated, but Nebraska walked away with the win and was the only team left undefeated. Going into this game, Nebraska is still undefeated after a few more wins against schools like Iowa and Michigan. Since their last match up, only Penn State and Purdue have been able to beat Wisconsin. With Nebraska remaining undefeated with only a few games left in the regular season, they wanted to maintain that perfect record. With Nebraska being undefeated, Wisconsin wanted to be the first team to beat Nebraska this season.  Dear Readers~     Welcome back! This blog will cover the game between UCLA and Washington State that took place in Pullman, Washington. The game happened at 7pm Pacific Time at Washington State's Bohler Gym. Going into the game, UCLA had a record of 15-10 after losing to Arizona State then beating Arizona while Washington State had a record of 19-7 after losing to Stanford then beating UC Berkeley. Dear Readers~     This blog covers the game between Texas and Kansas State that happened in Manhattan, Kansas. The game took place at Kansas State's Morgan Family Arena on Wednesday, November 8th at 6:30pm. Going into the game, Texas was 18-3 along with a 13-game win streak coming off of back-to-back wins against West Virginia while Kansas State was sitting at 13-10 after coming off of back-to-back losses to Kansas. As for only their conference, Texas is undefeated at 13-0 while Kansas State is sitting at 7-7. Will a #3 Texas keep its undefeated streak in the Big 12 and move its overall win streak to 14 in a row or will an unranked Kansas State go from 13-10 to 14-10 overall as well as 8-7 in their conference by taking down the #3 ranked Texas?  Dear Readers~     This blog covers the game between Stanford and Arizona State, or ASU as some may know it, that took place in Tempe, Arizona at Arizona State's Mullett Arena on October 29th. Going into the game Stanford was 18-2 coming off of 12 consecutive wins, one of which was a 3-0 win over Arizona State, while Arizona State was 20-3 coming off of a win against UC Berkeley just a few days prior in Tempe. Will Stanford get 13 wins in a row and make it a record of 19-2, as well as a 13-0 away record, or will Arizona State win their 21st game and move their at home record from 5-0 to 6-0?
